Paragon Medical Europe Relocates to Switzerland
Paragon Medical, Inc., Pierceton, IN, a global provider to the medical device industry, announced the relocation of their European division. Effective 7 December, Paragon Medical Europe, formerly located in Freiburg, Germany, will operate out of their new office in Lausanne, Switzerland. Greg Hall, Director of International Business Development announced that the move gives the European division access to resources in the Lausanne area to better serve our clients. Lausanne is centrally located in Europe and gives Paragon a connection to provide superior service to our European customer base. The company's continued expansion includes office and administrative support as well as engineering and production. With the growing need to be an international supplier, Paragon Medical, Inc. is displaying their ability to respond to the requirements of their client community.

Announces Hiring of European Business Development Manager
Pierceton, Indiana - Paragon Medical, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Kees de Louw as European Business Development Manager to its growing European division. Mr. de Louw will be responsible for all account management as well as provide strategic direction for Paragon Medical Europe.
Before joining Paragon Medical, Mr. de Louw has held several European sales and management positions in the industrial electronics most recently in service to the medical OEM marketplace. He has extensive experience in both start up organizations as well as growth companies. Mr. de Louw holds a B.A. degree in economics from Hogeschool Deidenoort in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Paragon Medical, Inc. designs, manufactures and delivers medical devices, including instruments, trials and implantable components for the global surgical instrument marketplace. It also designs, manufactures and delivers custom or standard cases and trays to organize, store and safely deliver surgical sets to the operating room theater. Tony Romano spoke at the PLM (Project Life Management) World 2003 Conference in Anaheim, California, hosted by EDS. He made the presentation "Sheet Metal Design", which is the sheet metal module design capabilities of UniGraphics®. He explained how Paragon Medical, Inc. uses it and showed its functions. Paragon Medical, Inc. recently received an Outstanding Customer Award from BP Amoco and was recognized as being a premier user of Amoco's Radel® R 5000 series polyphenylsulfone. Paragon Medical, Inc. is the only manufacturer of surgical case and tray systems in the world to have its own extrusion facility in-house. Utilizing Amoco's Radel® R 5000 series, the highest medical grade available, Paragon extrudes the Radel® R into sheet stock and then thermoforms it into case and tray systems for containing and transporting instrument and implant systems.
